TAIPEI, Taiwan - ion press event at Computex 2016, Asus unveiled the latest new products including Zenbook 3, Zenfone 3, ASUS Transformer and the first ASUS robot- Zenbo.
Asus held the ‘Zenvolution’ event in Taiwan today, only a day before Computex takes off, to announce Zenbo, the first ASUS robot, along with a stunning line up of third-generation mobile products.
According to Asus press news, Zenbo is a capable home robot designed to provide assistance, entertainment, and companionship to families. Chairman Shih said, “For decades, humans have dreamed of owning such a companion: one that is smart, dear to our hearts, and always at our disposal. Our ambition is to enable robotic computing for every household.” Zenbo adopts Intel’s RealSense technology and is supported by Intel’s processor.
The next-generation ZenBook is completely redesigned with ultra-sleek 11.9mm chassis that weighs a mere 910g. It delivers unprecedented performance with up to an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of 2133MHz RAM, up to a 1TB PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD, a next-gen USB Type-C port, and powerful quad-speaker audio by Harman Kardon, as well as a built-in fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support.
