TAIPEI, Taiwan — Data Systems Consulting Co. launched the ERP-T100 in Taiwan on July 21, and teamed up with Advantech in forming the “League of Smart Manufacturing Integration” along with eight MES firms in an attempt to establish an ecosystem for industry 4.0.
Mark Yeh, President of Data Systems Consulting, introduced that “ERP-T100 is the Taiwan local branding Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) designed for manufacturers, retail.”
Furthermore, globalization view, open technical framework and adoptable for multi-vendor database, web interfaces, multilateral trade, localization application for Greater China, group financial management/sales prediction/orders and purchase are features of ERP-T100, according to the company.
However, ERP-T100 supports Oracle Database 11g R2, Oracle Linux 5.5,Oracle Solaris 11, Oracle VM 3.0 and Virtual Compute Appliance, which can also run Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle SuperCluster, Oracle Database Appliance, Oracle Big Data Appliance.
Advantech’s Vice President at Industrial Automation Group stated that in terms of the so-called industry 4.0, “There are so many opportunities out of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) here in Taiwan.”
Moreover, Advantech will focus on developing the hardware for industry 4.0, whlile Data Systems Consulting will help enterprises to examine what level are they in, so that to determine what solution of industry 4.0 best suits them.
