TAIPEI, Taiwan — E Ink Holdings, E Ink, a display technology visionary, will be showcasing for the first time a number of new consumer products using its unique electronic paper displays at Computex Taipei 2014. Electronic Paper Displays (EPDs) from E Ink are well recognized as the technology that has enabled the eReader market.
The same leading edge displays are also enabling a host of new products in mobile, wearable, home wares, retail, medical, industrial, and other applications.
A number of new consumer products enabled by E Ink display technology will be shown at the E Ink booth at Computex Taipei 2014 from June 3-7. These products take advantage of E Ink's unique technology to enable new features and designs that are not possible using other display technologies.
Products of note including, SONY Digital Paper targeted for business reading environment, the YotaPhone, the first dual screen smartphone now in mass production, Tomoon smartwatch that pairs with a smartphone APP
Electronic shelf tags that enable centralized pricing and a price update system, the Fujitsu Navit navigator that shows clinic information when you are registered to see a doctor at the hospital, Kisai Rorschach and Epson Smart Canvas ePaper wristwatches, a new clock design for the home that you will not believe could be possible, and large scale E Ink ePaper display.
