TAIPEI ,Taiwan－COMPUTEX d&i awards 2014 reveals the 74 winning entries. Asus receive 17 awards that hit a record as receiving most awards for single company since d&I awards was founded in 2007. Other winners include Acer、ADATA、ASROCK、Edimax、MSI、Philips、SanDisk、Senao Networks、Silicon Power、Thermaltake etc.
This year, 288 entries from 125 companies registered, which increased by 21.8% and 13.4% respectively in 2013. Except Taiwan’s participants, the registration ratio of foreign companies rose steeply.
Only 74 entries are chosen strictly by 6 jurors and among them wearable products, mobile communication and networking equipment won the popular this year. Like ToqSmartwatch, innovated by Qualcomm, it has not only a variety of smartphone’s function but makes the seamless integration of technology and life through monitoring the user’s daily activities.
HTC’s newest “The New HTC One (M8)”smartphone, which is just unveiled in early April, receive d&i awards and Asus’s Zenfone5 and Zenfone6 receive as well. In addition, Asus hits a record as single company receiving the most awards along with other 17 winning products.
All winning prosucts will be exhibited in Nangang Exhibition Hall (Booth I0407) during Computex Taipei 2014.
