Axiomtek is unveiling the NA130, its latest cost-effective desktop network appliance platform with four LANs, powered by the low power consumption AMD G-Series GX-210 processor. This slim-type network appliance is perfect for space constricting environments while also providing reliability, flexibility, scalability and cost effectiveness. Many network security threats today are spread over the Internet. Axiomtek’s NA130 is designed for a variety of small office/home office (SOHO) network security applications such as VPN, network security gateway, SD-WAN, firewall, and load balancer, etc.
“The feature-rich NA130 comes with four Gigabit Ethernet ports to enable super-fast connections, and supports one optional pair of LAN bypass to ensure continuous network communication. Moreover, it features two PCI Express Mini Card slots - one with USB and another with SATA interface - enabling the addition of Wi-Fi/3G/4G/LTE wireless cards for extensive communication options,” said Jack Chen, a product manager of Product PM Division at Axiomtek. “With a low power consumption processor and high system stability, the compact NA130 aims to provide SOHO customers a cost-effective and durable network appliance product.”
For extensive storage options, the network appliance supports one mSATA and one 2.5” SATA HDD tray. I/O options include a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port and a serial console port. Moreover, the desktop network security appliance supports one DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM slot with a maximum of 8GB non-ECC memory.
Front-facing LED indicators are available for convenient monitoring of power, hard disk status, LAN and LAN bypass. To keep the system running smoothly, the NA130 supports watchdog timer, which features 255 seconds for system reset and 7 seconds for LAN bypass. It also supports Windows 7, Windows 10, Cent OS, Ubuntu, and FreeBSD operating systems.
