Smart systems company Advantech in Suzhou, China held their first annual Internet of Things summit. At the summit , five thousand Advantech customers and partners from around the world witnessed Advantech publish their newest IoT platform architecture WISE-PaaS 3.0. and their IoT industry Solution Ready Package (SRP).
Advantech Chairman KC Liu stated that Advantech now has hardware and software integration and have established a comprehensive industry value chain. Advantech launched their WISE-PaaS software platform in 2014, and from the bottom up the platform includes full serial connection of perceptual components, edge operations, communications, PAAs platforms, SRP, and cloud services, and Advantech has established a complete IoT supply chain.
KC Liu also explained that the supply chain is fully implemented and popularized, and the key to its success is full cooperation between platform technology suppliers and industry experts to form a standardized product SRP. Through the System Integrator, the SRP then is installed on-site for users and follow up maintenance is carried out to make a complete field solution and form a complete IoT industrial chain.
He also pointed out that the WISE-PaaS software platform is still the core, and for sharing purposes membership-based operations are conducted based on cost centers.
