TAIPEI, Taiwan — Taiwanese ICT companies seize the chance to demonstrate their latest products and technologies at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2015, Apacer Technology Inc. is no exception. The company’s President C.K. Chang stated that intelligence, safety and entertainment are three of its development visions, and the company is aiming to build a PC ecosystem in three years.
CPU processor, DRAM and SSD that completed as basic and core PC components, Apacer is the world’s leading DRAM and SSD provider, and is going to build a PC ecosystem in the coming three years. “People say the PC is dead, but the fact is downsized PC market has come to an end. DRAM will still exist in ten years. Based on the newest statistics, notebook is a saturated market without significant declining, whereas Tablet is a declining market.” commented by C.K. Chang.
C.K. Chang said the company invested in OtO Photonics Inc. in a light to diversify product lines. Apacer rolled out luminance meter by using the core technology from OtO Photonics in 2014, C.K. Chang announced that the company will release light meter and lumen meter in the near future to meet the new demand.
Additionally, OtO Photonics mainly focuses on the development of micro spectrometer and the applications of the spectrometer's technology. Providing fine optical design, MEMS technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and software specialists. OtO has integrated multitudes of professional knowledge, and cultivated through photonic core technology to render a comprehensive services to support customers.
